Visit The Stephen Hopkins House. Dating back to the 18th century, this unique opportunity allows you to walk through one of the oldest homes in the United States. Stephen Hopkins once served as the Governor of Rhode Island and was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Following a guided tour exit and take a leisurely stroll along the Mile of History, on Benefit Street. Lined with colonial and Victorian-era homes this street is rich in history and beauty.
