Discover Nashville: A Fun-Filled 3-Day Weekend
Tunes, Food, and Fun in Music City
Brush off your ‘two-step’ we’re boot-scootin’ boogieing on into Nashville, Tennessee. A vibrant city full of history, there is no shortage of music here. No matter how many times you visit there is always something new to discover here. On our latest trip, we spent a memorable long weekend with friends exploring some of Nashville's most iconic neighborhoods: Hillsboro Village, The Gulch and Broadway.
We did all the research and planning so you can just kick back and party like a pro, stress-free! Here's a guide to help you make the most of your visit.
Day 1: Hillsboro Village
A charming neighborhood near Belmont and Vanderbilt Universities, Hillsboro Village is known for its eateries, shops, cafes, and boutiques. Home to the historic Belcourt Theatre, Hillsboro Village offers a perfect mixture of food, wellness salons, entertainment and culture.
Start your day by grabbing a coffee and some breakfast from Fido, a former pet store, popular with the locals. Then head down 21st Avenue South and pop into United Apparel Liquidators (popular mural on the side of their building for my art enthusiasts) for a new outfit or BookManBookWoman for a new read. Today is all about relaxing, enjoying good company, art, and exploring your surroundings.

Day 2: The Gulch
Important question for you – do you like biscuits? Because you’re not going to want to miss out on brunch at Biscuit love. Popular for its Southern-style biscuits and creative dishes, this is a restaurant worth the wait time. Located in The Gulch, it’s a perfect place to start your day.
The Gulch is THE trendiest neighborhood in Nashville. You know the famous “Wings” mural by Kelsey Montague you’ve seen on social media? This is where you will find it. There are plenty of other murals in the area to checkout for fun photo ops and some high-end boutiques and unique local shops you can pop into along the way.
If you’re in the mood for..
A farm-to-table experience, The 404 Kitchen has some great options that feature Southern and European influences.
You want to listen to some music, Station Inn is legendary. The venue is known for its bluegrass and roots music.
To see some stellar views of the city before dinner, grab a cocktail at LA Jackson located on the top of the Thompson Nashville Hotel.

Activities
Finish off your trip with a unique experience: a tractor ride down Broadway. If you’re 21+ or older, this moving party offers live music, interactive games, and the option to enjoy a drink as you take in the sights and sounds of Nashville. We had such a blast doing this with friends and it’s a memorable way to see the city from a different perspective.
Nashville Biggest & Wildest Party Public Tractor Tour (Ages 21+)
From the moment we boarded the tractor, the staff created an exciting and unique atmosphere. Not only were they our transportation, but DJs spinning a mix of classic hits and modern favorites, and onboard bartenders for those choosing to participate in beverages of the alcoholic kind. We appreciated the interactive games they organized which almost immediately had our group becoming new friends.
Highly recommended!
No matter if you’re exploring the charming streets of Hillsboro Village, trendy videos in the Gulch, or partying your way down Broadway, Nashville has a little bit of everything to offer. Enjoy your time exploring Music City and making unforgettable memories.
